Best Auto shop in Town. I came in here for a check on over-heat problem. They pointed out the problem which was causes by the George White when they installed the new water pump last year. Best auto repair shop in Ames! This is a shop you can trust. The owner Steve has been in Ames his entire career and is one of the most honest mechanics in the business. I have been taking my car here for seven years, and it is the only place I know that will get the job done right at an affordable price. I've had oil changes, wheel bearings replaced, new clutch, etc. and it has not costed me an arm and a leg, -as a college student that was especially important. I recommend bringing all of your car repair needs to Precision Auto, they are awesome!

Great service, great price. Took my car in for an oil change ($26) and to have them investigate a sound coming from the front driver side. They immediately recognized it as a bad wheel bearing and replaced it. Completely fixed the problem. The whole operation cost me half of what the dealer would have charged.
